This work explores the idea of identity for Ukrainians who were forced to relocate to Ireland due to the 2022 Russian invasion.
The goal of the work was to make a set of portraits in individuals’ assigned accommodation, be that a hostel, hotel or a private home. The images attempt to capture the feeling of what it is like to be forced to leave your country due to war.
